Pan was invited to the GLF Bonn Digital Conference this year to share her insights on the role of carbon markets in supporting mitigation efforts. She participated in the panel discussion on the UN REDD Programme where conversation considered the importance of tropical forests as carbon sinks, the progress UN REDD has made in providing a framework for avoiding deforestation and the role carbon credits awarded to forestry projects under UN REDD can be better used to improving financing of projects.
