Alfred lectures to the University of Geneva’s Masters degree in Commodity Trading on Environmental Markets, Commoditizing Ecosystem Services, addressing the the role that pricing of ecosystem services effects the commodity industry. The module covers the economic models on which carbon markets are based, renewable energy credits and other environmental assets such as biodiversity credits as well as trading of carbon credits and the use of carbon credits to value environmental externalities in commodity value chains.
